Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2026
These are the terms for using YardOS. We've kept them short and plain. By signing up or completing a purchase through our checkout, you agree to be bound by these terms. If something here isn't clear, email info@yardos.co.uk and we'll explain.
1. The service
YardOS is a software-as-a-service platform owned and developed by Nondela Ltd., a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14946040) ("Nondela", "we", "us"). YardOS provides tools for managing equestrian yards, including horse records, tasks, bookings, and invoicing. We provide the service "as is" — but we work hard to keep it reliable, fast, and useful.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older to create an account.
- You're responsible for keeping your password safe.
- You're responsible for what people you invite to your yard do inside YardOS.
- One person, one account. Don't share logins.
3. Free trial
New yards get a 30-day free trial with full access to all features. No payment card is required. At the end of the trial, you must choose a paid plan to continue using YardOS. If you don't subscribe, your access to the application will be suspended — you will not be able to view or manage your yard until you subscribe to a plan. Your data will be retained for 90 days after suspension, during which time you can subscribe to regain full access.
4. Payment, auto-renewal & cancellation
- Plans are billed monthly or annually in advance via our payment processor, Stripe.
- Auto-renewal. All subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) at the then-current price. You authorise us to charge your payment method on file for each renewal.
- Per-horse fees. A per-horse fee is added to your base plan price based on the number of horses on your yard at the time of checkout or plan change.
- Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated.
- Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
- Cancellation. You can cancel any time from inside YardOS. After cancellation, you keep access until the end of your current paid period. No partial refunds are issued for the remaining period.
- If a payment fails, we'll give you a 7-day grace period before suspending access.
- We don't issue refunds for partial months — but if something is genuinely wrong, email us and we'll sort it out.
5. Checkout & agreement to terms
When you complete a purchase through our checkout (powered by Stripe), you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. This agreement is formed at the point of purchase and applies to the subscription you are purchasing.
6. Your data
Your yard's data belongs to you. We never claim ownership. You can export it at any time as CSV from inside YardOS.
Data processing roles. When you use YardOS to store and manage personal data about your horse owners, riders, and staff, you are the data controller and YardOS is the data processor. You are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to collect and process that data, and for granting appropriate access to your yard members. Our data processing obligations are set out in our Privacy Policy.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use YardOS for anything illegal.
- Try to break, scrape, or reverse-engineer it.
- Resell access to YardOS without our written permission.
- Upload anything that infringes someone else's rights or contains malware.
- Use YardOS to spam or harass other people.
8. Yard owner payments (Stripe Connect)
If you use YardOS to take payments from your horse owners, you'll connect your own Stripe account. Stripe is the merchant of record for those payments. YardOS is a software platform — we don't hold your money or act as a payment processor. Stripe's terms apply to those payments.
9. Availability
We aim for 99.9% uptime, measured monthly. We can't promise YardOS will never be down — sometimes things break — but if there's an outage that materially affects you, we'll credit your account.
10. Intellectual property
YardOS (the brand, the software, the design) belongs to Nondela Ltd. You get a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for as long as you have a paid account or an active free trial.
11. Termination
You can cancel any time from inside YardOS. We can suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms — but we'll always try to talk to you first. On termination, you have 30 days to export your data before we delete it.
12. Liability
YardOS is a tool to help you run your yard. It's not a substitute for veterinary advice, professional judgment, or proper insurance. To the extent allowed by law, our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.
13. Changes to these terms
If we make material changes, we'll email everyone with an account at least 14 days before they take effect. If you don't like the changes, you can cancel.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be heard in the English courts.
15. Company details
Nondela Ltd. is registered in England and Wales, company number 14946040.
